The ServiceNet BI & SSCSD Social Recreation Program provides inclusive and accessible community based recreation and leisure services for individuals who are survivors of a traumatic brain injury and similar cognitive conditions.
We specifically design our programs to be inclusive to meet the needs of every participants' ability level. Through this approach, we hold the belief that all people, regardless of ability, age, culture and background, live, grow and learn together in creating a supportive community.

Our program offerings include Kayaking, Adaptive Biking, Laughter Club, Sailing, Car shows, Museums, Letter boxing, Boat trips, Barbecues, Fishing, Zoo's, Hikes, Animal preserves, Birdwatching, Concerts, Pizza Parties, Karaoke, Bingo, Boce, Snow shoeing, Ice Sledding, Ice Skating, Mime, Gardening, and a variety of Expressive arts performances.

The variety of programs provide opportunities for participants to engage in creative and self-directed involvement that enables them to explore and discover their own and others' unique talents. Most events are free, but there is a small fee to attend some of the activities.
